God is moving in Texas! Night two was another level above last night. We sensed the Holy Spirit in a new and powerful way tonight.

Of course we started the night with Catherine and the band. They once again led us into the presence of God. It was a powerful time of worship and the people all joined in.

They ended with the song, To God Be the Glory, as Mario came out to take the stage. And as the song ended a roar came up from the people as they shouted their praise to God. It was a powerful moment that lingered for quite a while. The presence of God was heavy in the Tent.

“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NLT).

Mario began by telling a story of the time he went to Panama. There was machine gun fire as Noriega was being deposed. He laid in his hotel room and listened to gun fire all night. But as he laid there he had a vision of a young man, about 18. God said that teenager will be in the meeting the next time, he’ll be saved, and he’ll become a radical leader of a movement on his campus.

The next day, in the meeting, he was preaching and happened to look down and he spotted that very young man in the meeting. He stopped his message and had the man stand. He told him about the vision, and led him to Christ right in that moment. The young man prayed with him, and fell to his face, sobbing.

On the way to the airport a couple days later, Mario was heading to the gate and heard someone begin yelling his name. It was the missionary who brought Mario in, and told him the young man had already started a fire on his campus. He was the student body president and the star soccer player. And he immediately began winning souls on his campus.

Mario said there are people sitting in front of us who are world changers.

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV).

God seeks those who will trust Him, separate themselves, and in the name of Jesus take up the weapon of God and thrust it into the heart of darkness.

They want us to believe America is too far gone, but it’s not, because God has the power to create Christian weapons, start new missionaries, and raise up evangelists, prophets, teachers, and pastors.

God can take a discouraged pastor, set him aside, fill him with the Holy Spirit, and turn him into something powerful.

Mario had the people recite the phrase, “We are the resistance!”

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:10-13 NKJV).

Mario told a story about J. O. Fraser, a missionary to the Lisu people of China in the early 1900s. It seemed nothing he preached was reaching these pagan villagers, and he went into a deep depression.

He wrote a book in which he described how dark, and depressed, and fearful he became. Until he despaired of life itself. His sadness was so deeply embedded in him, he felt it would kill him.

One day a magazine arrived and he read something that opened his eyes. It said that there is a message in the world that will strip us of all our hope and belief.

Mario told how one time David Wilkerson got in his face and said “You will never make it on ‘modern role models’. Never make it in the context of this generation, who are convinced that God’s greatest acts are in the past.”

He then revealed what J. O. Fraser discovered, and what Mario wants the people to discover. Fraser said, “God I will never be able to lead one of these people to Christ, I will go home a failure.” And God gave him such a revival of the people that Fraser went from almost dying of depression, to almost dying of exhaustion baptizing thousands.

What changed Fraser is what can change you. He found his resistance. He said, “What it showed me was that deliverance from the power of the evil one comes through definite resistance on the ground of the Cross. I am an engineer and believe in things working… The passive side of leaving everything to the Lord Jesus as our life, while blessedly true, was not all that was needed just then. Definite resistance on the ground of the Cross was what brought me to light.”

Mario said, the Church is putting you to sleep by saying, “It’s all in God’s hands.” But if Charlie Kirk had believed this he would never have put out a chair and a sign that said, “Prove me wrong”.

Fraser continued, “For I found that it worked. The cloud of depression dispersed. I found that I could have victory in the spiritual realm whenever I wanted it. The Lord Himself resisted Satan vocally, “Get thee behind me Satan.” I, in humble dependence on Him, did the same. I talked to Satan at that time, using the promises of Scripture as weapons, and they worked.”

The Devil tells you that you’ll never have enough money, the door will never open, the book will never be written, the miracle will never happen. And it’s time to speak to the Devil by the anointing of Jesus Christ, and resist him.

Mario said, your identity is being fundamentally altered. Mario talked about those who are busy trying to “find their purpose.” He gave an amusing illustration of a man entering Marine boot camp and when asked, “Why did you join the Marine Corps?” and he responded, “To find my purpose, Sir!”, the response came, “You have no purpose! The Marine Corps has a purpose!”

And Mario said the same should have been told to everyone ever born again. Jesus is the one with the purpose. He has the purpose.

“He who sins is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8).

For this purpose — that He might destroy the works of the Devil!

Mario said, “Because you don’t have a purpose, you have an assignment within the purpose. You are an extension of the purpose of Christ. Your duties become an extension of Christ’s purpose. Which makes you a destroyer of the works of the Devil.

Mario then had the people pray in the Holy Spirit and the Tent once again filled with His mighty, powerful presence.

Mario said every miracle has a “because”. He told how back in the 70s when computers were something speculative and everyone owning one was crazy. Steve Jobs said, “The person who knows what, will always work for the person who knows why.” Apple was successful because they knew why having a personal computer would be important.

Jesus understood why the Spirit of God was on Him. The modern church tries to force the Holy Spirit to function in a way He was never designed to function. He’s not there to make you feel some way, or help the church feel self-satisfied, or to have an excuse to avoid confrontation.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19 NKJV).

Mario then gave the appeal for lost souls. For those who need Christ to stand and come forward. And we had another amazing response. There were so many people who came forward to have their life set free and be made new.

He then prayed with them and sent them out to be ministered to by our amazing crew of volunteers.

Catherine and the band sang, Look What the Lord Has Done, and we celebrated all God has done and will do. It was an incredible time under the Tent.

Mario asked the question of those feeling the night might be running long, what if we pressed in just a little more?

And as the people began to filter their way back in, the atmosphere shifted. The presence of God filled the Tent once again. It is always such an amazing moment, you can feel it. The shift, the power, the anticipation.

Mario gave some brief instruction about how the remainder of the night would go. And then began to call out diseases: emphysema, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and he announced that they were being healed in the room.

He pointed to one section and revealed there was someone suffering severe insomnia. And said it was being removed.

Then pointed to the other side, a woman with constant throbbing pain in the hands, hips, and feet. And it was all being healed.

Then in the middle. Someone who had been in a car accident leaving neurological and physical damage. It affected balance, coordination, and caused joint pain. He said they needed to stand to their feet.

It took a few minutes and then it was revealed who it was. And the young woman stood up. She began to feel her bones shift back into place. Her balance, coordination, and eyesight were all being healed. She began to weep as her eyes were restored.

Mario revealed that a dream she had had been lost because of the condition, but that now she would be able to try again and succeed.

Then he pointed out that there were those with cancer toward the back of the Tent. He had them stand up. A woman was in tears as she stood. It had metastasized and was being removed. Not only were the tumors being removed, but the cells’ predisposition to become cancerous was being removed.

Someone with Parkinson’s was being healed.

Then he called out ringing in the ears, and said for everyone with ringing of the ears to stand. And people all over the Tent began to stand.

Of those who stood, it was revealed they were being healed. But it was also revealed they all had some other condition as well.

One was healed in their heart.

Another was being healed in their eyesight.

One had constant pain in the feet.

One had a grandchild who is being victimized because he has hyperactivity and is being made to feel inferior by his school, but it is really because he is smarter than everyone. And it was declared he was being healed.

Then a man on the other side was being healed in his blood, his joints, his lungs, his back, his brain, and his feet. He was doubled over weeping as God began to heal his body.

Then a woman toward the back. Her sickness was financially straining her with multiple inconclusive tests, but Mario said that Jesus knows the exact thing wrong with her and He is removing the illness from her body. And also three other family members. She was being healed in her heart, her back, her head, and her legs.

Mario had everyone with cancer stand so others around them could lay hands on and pray for them. There were people all over the Tent and everyone crowded around, laying on hands and praying.

It was another amazing night. God showed up in such a powerful way!
