What a kick off to the Conroe Tent Meeting! We entered Texas with great anticipation and as always, God did not disappoint. It was a night of great power and the presence of the Lord.

We began with our favorite worship team, Catherine Mullins and band. They are such an anointed, powerful force. They are so equally matched in heart and desire to Mario, desiring to see bondages broken, bodies healed, and most importantly, souls saved and set free.

I think what I appreciate most about Catherine and her team is that they are not performers. They are soldiers on the battlefield, they are on the front lines, breaking spirits and strongholds, so that people are positioned to be set free.

As I walked into the tent and was getting ready for the night I could feel the anticipation of the people. There was a buzz and an excitement for what God was going to do.

Mario took the stage and opened with a powerful prayer, that those broken, hurting, addicted, and fearful souls would have peace to know the real Jesus.

Mario spoke a message titled, It Is Now or Never, and said he does not believe anyone has the luxury of thinking the Church should wait for anything. We need a miracle now!

He said he rarely preaches, “God’s About To” type sermons, because there are too many already. And we spend so much time announcing what God is going to do next, that we ignore what He is doing now. And we are not deliberate or intentional in obeying God.

“When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1 NKJV).

Mario shared about how suddenly the winds and flames came into the upper room. But this time he was focusing on the part where God selected 120 people to be together in one place, and the world would never be the same. He then said everyone in the Tent was brought there by God, whether they know it now, whether they know why or not.

He said, “You are here because God is up to something new in the United States of America!”

He told the people they were not just in a tent meeting, but in an event orchestrated by God to pour out His Spirit and change us forever. The weather was right, the pastors were open, the churches were ready, and the Holy Spirit brought this all together, for such a time as this.

“Now, therefore, ” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning” (Joel 2:12 NKJV).

In this prophetic message given to Joel, God said there is no tomorrow. As far as we are concerned, we have tonight and that’s it. And God wants to hear you are ready to be a part of what He’s doing, now.

The Spirit of God that is at work transcends anything we have seen before, because what we need is greater than anything we’ve seen before. Mario challenged the people to decide right now to no longer be a spectator or a victim, to neither be afraid nor sit back.

Next God said to make room. He told the pastors their church may not look the same after this tent meeting, but they’ve got to be willing to make room. He told the people we have to know how to make room for what God is doing.

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at Thy word I will let down the net” (Luke 5:4-5 NKJV).

Mario said Peter, like many of us, have listened to God’s voice through a filter of hurt and disappointment, the filter of fear others put on you because they already tried what God wants you to try, and failed. Their failure should not affect you, their unbelief should not grip you.

Most of all revivals die between steps 1 and 2. Step 1, you ask God for revival and He says, “Yes!” Then He says, if you want it, do this. And that’s where it ends. You look at the commitments, possible criticism, the budget, and you say, “No.”

Mario told the people the Lord is visiting them tonight, and that God was about to lay the answer in front of them to the thing they’ve been praying their whole life for. He added that there is nothing more destructive to a congregation than a preacher listening to bad advice or being influenced by other people’s hurt or bitterness.

He quoted something he heard R.T. Kendall said in an interview. He was asked what he would have told a young R.T. Kendall, and he said he would tell all young preachers: “Skip seminary. Read your Bible, and pray!”

Mario pointed out the passage in Luke where Jesus told Peter to let down the nets, plural, and Peter said he would let down the net, singular. You are the only one who knows the nets you have refused to let down. When God said to let down the nets, we let down a net, because we listen through the filter of our hurts and bad past experiences. We give God a partial obedience.

He shared how Esther was preparing for her time with the King, choosing her outfits and makeup. while simultaneously, Mordechai was at the temple gate dressed in sackcloth, wailing over the genocide that was coming upon the Jews. Esther was in one extreme and Mordechai was in the other.

The same is true in the Body of Christ. People are trying to turn Christianity into something comfortable, to bring heaven to earth. But there are others who know what is at stake.

We need more!

It is only when Christ becomes the object of your adoration that life falls into place. What you thought was in a drug, or a boyfriend, or a PhD, or money, or fame, or power, is actually only to be found in Christ.

You want your church to be the place that people hear, ‘Jesus is there.’ It’s not the parking, or the coffee, or any other amenity offered. They will come running when they know Jesus is in the house.

Mario then called for those who wanted to be saved to raise their hands and to come forward. The ones who want the nightmare to end, the addiction to be broken, and the hell in their life to end now.

The people came flooding forward from all over the Tent. So many people, such an amazing, incredible sight. Hundreds came forward.

Mario prayed with them and then released them to our team of volunteers for additional prayer and follow up.

When I went outside the Tent I saw a line of volunteers that stretched the full length of the Tent and it was incredible. And then the people came out and I watched as they were prayed over. Such a wonderful sight!

And of course while they were being ministered to, Catherine and the band led the group in a great song of victory.

After they had sung, Mario had the people begin to pray in the Spirit, and the atmosphere in the Tent shifted immediately as the people’s hearts were turned toward God.

Mario called out a woman and had her stand. But as part of her healing, the man to her side was asked to stand and she laid hands on him. As he was being prayed over they were both being healed. He was healed in his heart, his lungs, his back, and in his legs. He began to jump and dance, then took off running and ran around the Tent!

After this Mario came down off the platform and began to move through the audience.

He had a young man lay hands on the woman next to him. Her organs were being healed. Her eyes, her back, and her legs also healed.

Then a woman on the same row was healed of ten years of pain in her head, neck, and back.

Next, there was a woman who was praying for someone else in her family, but she herself was being healed in her blood and stomach pain.

Then Mario pointed out someone with extreme migraine headaches. But it was revealed this was a larger neurological issue that was all being healed.

Then it was revealed that God had a word for a man, and He said it was the start of a breakthrough the man had been waiting years for. He was healed in his arms, legs, lungs, spine, and head.

Next a woman was going to be healed, but first Mario had her pray for the woman next to her. He told the second woman this would change everything about her. Her healing was coming from the top of head all the way down to her feet. Her lungs opened and her heart was touched. Then the first woman was also being healed in her stomach. Her condition had been a mystery to her doctors but it was now being healed, as were chronic headaches.

Then another woman, who God had already told was going to be healed. Her and the man with her both stood. And in that section people were being healed of diabetes and lupus.

Mario had the man lay his hand on her forehead and she was healed of inflammation, swelling, high blood pressure, heart condition, joint pain, a pinched nerve, and a displaced neck vertebrae.

Next Mario asked a woman to lay hands on the woman in front of her. He told this other woman that she loves Christmas and hasn’t been able to enjoy the things she once did because of the pain in her body. She had a terrible accident, and pain in her legs and feet. As he mentioned the pain in her feet, her legs began to dance.

Mario told her, “Rise and walk in the Name of Jesus!” She stood up, a little shaky at first, but got steadier the more she stood. And then she began to walk. Then he went back to the first woman who was being healed in her blood, pancreas, eyesight, and she was also healed of a lung condition and in her throat.

Next, another woman in the same section had been told she was going to die, but the Lord told her that death sentence was being removed. She was healed in her knees, ankles, hips, hand, shoulders, heart, pancreas, and lungs.

Then a young man, his mother had been praying for a long time and now God said he was calming a storm.

Next a woman being relieved of heaviness and guilt. Healed in her soul and a broken heart.

Then he went to a front section on one side, and several people there were touched. One man had been waiting for 20 years to be healed of an inherited disease. God revealed it was ending with him.

Next, Mario moved on to a couple of women. The one woman had something that was being burned out of her abdomen and she was made well.

Then he said there were three men being healed of heart disease, when he called for them to stand and five men stood. God touched them all.

Then Mario had a couple in the front stand up and he said the Holy Spirit had revealed him to be a man of God. And God had given the man a revelation that needs to be written down. He said he was in a new season and needed health for the coming season.

The woman also needed healing. She was being healed of pain and breathing when trying to sleep. Also healed in joints, back, and neck. Also feet, knees, hips, hands, fingers, and shoulders. He was healed in his back. Mario then laid his hands on the man and prayed over him.
