If your pastor did not mention Charlie Kirk
When many pastors locked their doors during Covid, it was strike one.
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade it was cause for rejoicing. Because the most hideous sin that ever saw the light of day—institutionalized child sacrifice—ceased to be the law of the land.
Yet, some pastors did not rejoice. They did not even mention it. Only God knows the real reason they did not. However, it is hard not to see that they were silent because they did not want to offend anyone. That was strike two.
And now we come to strike three: pastors did not mention Charlie Kirk, even though he is a martyr for his faith!
Make no mistake. They did not assassinate Charlie Kirk for political reasons. They killed him because of his Biblical Morality. I say they, because I do not buy the lone gunman theory.
As a matter of fact, I believe that evil forces—way bigger than we know—felt they had to try to stop the rising tide of Turning Point USA.

They are choosing a dark unity over truth. Their preaching is actually making you weaker.
But what was that tide? It was Christian influence. It was a moral awakening. That fact became undeniable during Charlie’s memorial. It was a revival meeting. It was a soul winning event.
Here’s the question: ‘Can you continue to sit under a ministry that carries silence to this extreme?’ What else are they not telling you?
And how horrible is it that they could not so much as pray for Charlie’s wife and children?
They are choosing a dark unity over truth. Their preaching is actually making you weaker.
Additionally, they are putting the success of their ministry above your soul.
They see a threat. It is not the same threat that God sees. Their concern is attendance and keeping people happy. God sees a coming storm and the urgency to equip His people to face it.
And how happy will the people be when the evildoers drive the church underground?
What should preaching do? It should train the people to fight against the forces that are destroying America’s soul.
And how horrible is it that they could not so much as pray for Charlie’s wife and children?

A true pastor does not place their own success over the needs of the people. And I believe that a host of preachers who did not say anything about Charlie were influenced by other preachers who are the real villains.
They are described in Jeremiah 23:1-2, “Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” says the Lord. Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the Lord.
What should true pastors be doing? They should be training their people to fight against the forces that are destroying America’s soul. Instead they are being treated to a distracting message that denies the fact that we are in a war.
But that war is here and it will have casualties. That is why you need to get out of that church and get to the safety of a pastor who is not an enabler but an equipper.
Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them, “Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!” (Neh. 4:14, NLT).

I am grieved and in total agreement with what you write. The pastor of my church is godly, preachers biblical truth, but never says a word about anything that is happening today! But what are perhaps the majority of us to do when there is no preacher Like you or Todd or others we can only find online or if we happen to live near a church we could rejoice in attending? What are we to do?
Feed yourself as you are already doing! Find those that you can encourage you to take a stand for the Truth that is Jesus! And PRAY PRAY PRAY that those in your church leadership catch fire for Jesus or move out of the way of those that do!
You ask “what are we to do when we can’t find a church” , I would recommend that you and other like minded people begin meeting in somebodys home or garage or any building you can use and studying the scriptures with prayer and allow God to lead and guide you. If you take the first step God will meet you and guide you. He is looking for those willing to meet him and walk daily with them. (and he doesn’t require a theological degree to speak to and teach you. All he asks is a willing heart.
I’m agreeing with you
Charles. This would be my advice as well. Let the Holy Spirit supply all your needs.
YES SIR! AMEN!!!!
Hello Mario,
Thank you for your blog. It was such a good confirmation to me of doing the right thing. I just emailed those in leadership of Bible Study Fellowship that I am dropping out due to them not even bringing up Charlie’s name after the tragedy..not even praying for his family!! Yes, a Christian organization.
Thankfully, I have s wonderful church that organized a prayer vigil after the tragedy.
God’s continued blessing on all you’re doing !
~Maureen Howard
Who says that you need four walls, a “preacher”, a worship band or choir for church to be the church? There is no scripture that support that. It does however say not to forsake the assembly of the brother. Gather with believers that love, fear, and follow Jesus and you have Church. …
Don Keathley, the Digital Cathedrals, on YouTube. Preaches the Gospel without apology. God is so much better than what we’ve been told!
We live in Miami Beach, and have not been able to find a decent church, especially during the Covid era. We stumbled upon Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia due to an election sermon he preached that went viral in 2020. We meet with other families, watch Cornerstone Chapel online, discuss it, share a meal, communion and pray for oneanother. Paster Gary always brings up current events and never shrinks back from the truth. I can never go back to the “bury my head in the sand” kind of mentality.
We are very limited in this small town about selection. Every church but one closed for the covid scam. Most Churches seem to be concerned with preaching what will fill the seats. Giving that feel good feeling.
Go online until you find a church that you can willingly attend, or you need to move. I have gone online and moved for this very reason. It can be difficult, but God and the true Word must come first. I am strictly pro-life and played a part in Roe v. Wade being overturned in the Jubilee year, but would you believe, not all pastors are. I wrote to the conservative members of the Supreme Court and told them that Roe v. Wade had to be overturned in the Jubilee Year or America would be lost forever. They did as I asked, led by Alito. Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
Thank you MARIO for obeying THE LORD and keeping us informed. Blessings to you
Bravo, Mario. Keep speaking God’s truth, which sets us free.
BTW, my knees were healed during your Santa Barbara event. Already they are much better, and I have been able to start taking walks again! Thank you, Lord, and thank you, Mario and your team for spreading God’s word. Blessings to you all. For the Kingdom of God!
This is wonderful news!
We’re coming into Ephesians chapter four verse eleven and on, true apostles, prophets evangelist pastor and teacher, for the perfecting of the saints and bringing them into their ministry, every joint supplying, knit together in love to the full stature and measure of Messiah YESHUA…
Well, My pastor received 2 out of 3 strikes. He kept the church opened during Covid. I am not sure if that was for financial reasons though. We had an 82 year old, as well as another older gentleman, make professions of faith this past Wednesday because of Charlie Kirk. I am in one of those Rick Warren model churches. The Gospel is preached and many are saved, but no discipleship and they move on. As for now I am staying, I haven’t heard of any churches in the area acknowledging Kirk’s sacrifice. Thanks for your clarity and strong voice ! Blessings!
God bless you for your postings. We truly need to stand against the evil and pray for those who are speaking out. My pastor speaks truth and righteousness.
Thank you so much!!! MY priest did mention Charlie but they need to work harder to prepare the people. I look at the people and they seem to just go through the motions. Faith is to be lived!! You and many others have so greatly moved my faith forward I am forever grateful that we have a great God who is there for us no matter what. He is our sanctuary. We are His warriors!
Amen Mario. I still havent found a church in my area that speaks truth about these major happenings. If I do I’ll let everyone know
But, so far it’s nothing.
The pastor we used to have used to make the news with the controversial things he would say. He was always Biblical and right on, and the press would come just to hear what he was going to say next because it went against the norm. I miss that. They tried to sensir our old pastor but it never worked. I just dont see that kind of fortitude anymore. No, now we have a gay governor who probably sides with those behind the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
I know my trans client has disappeared from treatment since this happened.
What can I say.
LuAnn do you live in Oregon. I am looking for a church that speaks the truth and invites the Holy Spirit in.
Amen yes amen hallelujah
I’m thankful our church always talks about current affairs..ie: Charlie Kirk and Roe vs wade or Trump election. Always positive.
Dear Prophet Mario,
My Wife and I have watched you and Pastor Todd on Fire Power and attended/watched your tent meetings. We are part of Flashpoint Army and Warriors for Christ since 1980. As a humble servant of The Most High GOD who works in HIS GIFTS and WE want to Exhort and Thank you and Todd for Infusing and Igniting the Hearts of Seniors, Veterans, youth and All of the Eklesia in JESUS Name! Amen ✝️ 🙏 and Amen. GOD BLESS YOU, TODD and your Precious Families(O’hana)!
P.S. We guve when we can…
My pastor never mentioned Charlie Kirk. I believe that is one mighty reason I have been unsettled in the church. Tickling the ears of the congregation as they sit in the comfy pews.
God bless you speaking the truth
AMEN Mario!
I appreciate Mario Murillo’s ministry and his exhortations to be bold. Two weeks ago the pastor in the church I have been recently attending made no mention of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The next day he sent out an email apologizing for that. He said we had a lot going on that Sunday with a family meeting after service but said that was no excuse. There are different Christian leaders who are saying that we should leave a church that refuses to get involved in talking about issues our country is facing. The problem is I have been in several churches in my area and don’t want to keep “church hopping”. If there are churches speaking out, I’m not sure where they are so it’s frustrating. I continue to go online and listen to Fire Power and other ministries that are speaking up boldly but I shouldn’t have to go online all the time to find the truth.
Thanks for the opportunity to comment!
Amen, you have spoken truth brother.I Have To Keep Fighting For Truth.
I pray that the Lord help you find your local church family. In Jesus’ name!
Another thought: Ask pastors if he/she has shared the complete Gospel outside the church walls in the past week, the past month, the last 6 months, the last year… Even if a pastor can teach, he/she is to also do the “work of an evangelist” and to train the congregation in outreach. If he/she cannot inspire the church to be obedient, then, temporarliy hire an evangelist to train. Time is short.
If not, are we under disobedient pastors? The compete Gospel is what Mario Murillo and others are doing. Mario is absolutely wonderful because Mario is in love with Jesus and a fearless obedient servant of the King of Kings.
501c3 is 666, which master will we’all serve this day.
Thank you very much I know you are right
Strike 3 for me was after October 7 and the church I was attending made no mentionof the attack, and offered no prayer for Israel. I left and was called “divisive” but I cried to God to lead me to a warrior church. I know Long Island is hard, but God is faithful. About 9 months later I found a church pastored by I can only call her a warrior princess. No fear. Preaches boldness. We are asking the Lord to get us ready.
And where is your church? We are from Long Island and we too, are searching?!
Well said brother Mario👍✌️🕊✝️🙏
EXCELLENT!!! ALL Christians should read and heed this!
This is the third week in a row that my pastor not only mentioned him, but showed his picture and spoke about Stephen the martyr, how Cain killed Abel and the coming persecution against true Christians. How we must stand our ground and keep the light shining.
As usual Mario you’re right on. Unfortunately many Pastors are asleep with current events. They don’t talk about current issues. Several don’t give altar calls for the lost or those needing baptized in the HG. They are not true Shepherds. Their weak.
ABSOLUTE TRUTH! Thank you for this! I had a friend who even posted what one pastor said about it all and it was horendous! He complained about calling Charlie a martyr, about the worship leaders and topped it off with a few words about our president who said that he would not be able to forgive what Erica forgave, completely leaving out that President Trump followed that statement with “Pray for me”!
Whether or not President Trump is yet saved, He has spoken more about God, prayer back in our schools and country, attended a-pro life event..I have never heard any president speak about our Lord the way he has and does.
Also isn’t his role according to the book of Romans, to carry out the consequence of those who caused harm against the citizens of our country?!
As Christians, we are to forgive, and that was amazing that Erica was able to so quickly and that specific situation. Forgiving is one thing, but consequences can still follow.
They all need our prayers!
Thank you, Mario. I truly appreciate your blessed and anointed ministry, your courage, your faith, and the truth of God‘s word you always share without sugarcoating it.
“Whether or not President Trump is yet saved”? WHAT??????
Too many hirelings today instead of Pastors who would preach as the Apostles did. It will not go well for the hirelings when they have to answer God for what they have done and failed to do.
So appreciate the words of God’s Truth that you unashamedly proclaim. May God pour out His blessings upon your ministry as you continue to do His mighty works. Praying for your ministry.
Amen and Amen
I pray for the office of the president of the United States of America and for the peace of Jerusalem.
Thankyou Mario
You are correct .
I’m blessed to have found a
Spirit Led church in Queensland Australia
Rhema Family Church
Springwood
I’ve been going for 4 years now ,
Rhema let us decide if we wanted masks or not and kept the church open to my knowledge .
All pastors have talked about the death ( martyrdom ) of Charlie Kirk and encouraged us to be bold for Jesus .
I love our church 🫶🏻🕊️🙏🏼
I’m in Townsville Australia. When I first came to the Lord, there were no Church’s here unfortunately that preach the full Gospel message and encourage absolute dependence on the living Word and intimacy with the Holy Spirit. As a result, I having been accused of being divisive and a trouble maker when confronting the church of having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, it was all flesh and lots of tickling ears stuff. I thank God that He led me to Kenneth Copeland Ministries (who was on t.v. at 4.00am) cause at that time, I was a new Christian and so much wanted to belong and be part of Gods church but could not find any confirmation of what I believed the Holy Spirit was teaching me, I wondered if I was deceived. But I heard things from Kenneth Copeland that I had heard from the Holy Spirit and hadn’t heard anywhere else! (these things were fully in line with the Word) Whenever I mentioned KC to anyone else, I could not believe the hatred against this man and his prosperity preaching yet I hadn’t heard any of that at that time, his understanding of how faith works, the power of the tongue and standing on the Word are what got my attention. My point is if you really love and want to know the TRUTH God will lead you to it and you don’t necessarily have to love the delivery or the deliverer, but you need to love the TRUTH after all that’s what sets you free! You don’t have to be part of a church to grow, you need to have a holy fear of God and believe what the Word says and that is that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth (whom the world cannot receive apart from becoming born again) desires that we worship Him in Spirit and in truth, His Word is Spirit and His Word truth. He leads us and teaches us all truth in Jesus Christ.

I come from a very traditional church Greek Orthodox, but committed my life to Jesus outside the church. As I grew in the Lord with the baptism of the Holy Spirit I no longer could stay in a church that doesn’t teach the Word or change people’s lives. I started a fellowship with others in my home who felt the same way. God has set us free in so many ways and we have grown stronger in our faith. It’s time to step out in faith and when you do God is right there to take you places you never would have gone. Thank you Mario for always following the Holy Spirit to speak the truth.
I can’t blame my pastor for closing during Covid because we rent our space and had no choice; did not mention Roe v Wade being overturned. But this was 3rd Sunday after Charlie Kirk’s martyrdom. The first Sunday pastor mentioned briefly the assassination. I don’t remember if he said anything last Sunday. This week he talked about the cost of being a disciple. I was excited thinking he was finally going to redeem himself , but, no. Only a minor mention of Charlie when there were so many places in his sermon that he could have used Charlie as a modern day example of what a disciple looks like. So I am disappointed that he is wimpy and doesn’t want to upset anyone.
Mario,
I love your ministry and all you do for the Lord. We did mention Charlie and other important issues. My dad was an evangelist and I traveled with another evangelist for several years. God called me to be a pastor and we are full gospel. But, I say this with love for your ministry, the thing pastors and their congregations really tire of is when the main message of an evangelist is “what’s wrong with the church.” Let’s come together to encourage one another more and more as we see the final day approaching.
We were on vacation when Charlie got assasinated. Well, that Sunday we visited a church that we often attend when on vacation. While the new pastor didn’t mention Charlie’s name, the church did live steram the ENTIRE memorial service on their big screen in the sanctuary. We stayed as did a fair amount of others. When it got later, and time for dinner those staying sent out for pizza. My hubby and I were quite moved to see this service on the church’s big screen. We’re not sorry we stayed for the entire memorial service. We’d do it again!
I have a dilemma. The church I have been attending barely mentioned Charlie Kirk, and I watched the YouTube videos of some of the other churches in town, and they didn’t either. The church I formerly attended, whose mission statement is “We Exist to Make Disciples of Jesus Christ” didn’t disciple anyone that I know of in the six years that I attended. Their membership has dwindled to next to nothing and they wouldn’t try anything to change, so I’m out. put a bug in the ear of the Discipleship Pastor at my new church to show the movie The Forge and use their workbook to get a discipleship program going and he seems interested. But Charlie Kirk’s success was that he was willing to take Biblical truth and apply it to real world situations and I see that lacking in most churches today.
Thank you, Mario!
I believe if Pastors, or other church leadership don’t equip, it’s because they don’t know how! I keep praying for revival and reformation. Pray without ceasing! Maybe it’s high time we Christ Followers have a talk with our Pastors.
Shalom Mario You are so right about Church Pastors needing to not only mention Charlie Kirk but be like Charlie Kirk (Bold and Unafraid to Preach the Gospel) You are also correct that watching Charlie Kirk’s Memorial is the start of Worldwide REVIVAL and American REVIVAL The devil as always messed up big time Killing Charlie, He has just awakened a Sleeping Giant (as evident by Charlie’s Memorial The speakers at the Memorial were AWESOME and their words will lead to AMERICAN ENDTIME REVIVAL Mario your show Fire Power is an wonderful start to end time revival Mario tell Perry Stone that it is now time for his END TIME REVIVAL to start in Cleveland, Tennessee and move across the United States
Mario stay Bold and Unafraid like Charlie Kirk and his Dear Wife (Erica)!!! Love In Yeshua-Thomas
I agree with you and others that tell us to get out of lukewarm churches, but in our town there is no church that is not lukewarm. I’ve been to 5 of them. Maybe more in the last 7 years.
They did not assassinate Charlie Kirk for political reasons. Who are they? Stop putting the false “they” and acknowledge the alleged is a mentally ill man.
I believe He was a mentally ill man used by a host of mentally ill and evil coconspirators.
Amen Mario,
I agree 100% with what you are saying. Pastors need to be bold and unafraid to speak the truth about spiritual warfare going on in our country and the rest of the world. Even if it offense some. They can learn from Charlie.
This is my second comment because Charlie Kirk has touched me forever. Occasionally, God steps in when He feels He needs to. America has been drifting for decades. God brought Charlie Kirk into this world and America, as the world’s leading nation, to lead the nation back to the Word of Jesus. I have led an unusual life, having been dead from drowning at eighteen months. God saved me; I have no doubt about that. I have been dead twice and close another six times. My name means Lionheart, and cats are said to have nine lives, so I know I am on my last life at seventy-eight. So difficult and unique has been my life that I don’t cry over anything. However, when reading about and watching Charlie and his wife online, I cracked emotionally. Charlie was unique and so like Jesus that I simply believe God saw a desperate situation in a land that was forgetting Him and His Son, and brought a man so like Jesus into that land that most had to see why He had done so and why he had to also die at a young age, murdered by Satanic forces. Charlie, like Jesus, is a light to America and the world.
Dear Mario, I appreciate your unapologetic remarks that are always right on with what I believe is God’s heart for the church.
I think one major problem with the church is the very few people that pray. How many churches obey with Jesus says that my house shall be called the house of prayer for the nations? How can we expect victory against this spiritual war, how can we see the church move in power to see souls saved—it will require for fervent Prayer and of course repentance according to second 1 Chronicles 7:14. Father, forgive your church from its apathy, silence and compromise. Set a fire in us, burn up the dross in us. Help us surrender to your will for our lives. Teach us how to pray and stand in the Ephesians 6 full armor of God. Give us boldness and courage as Charlie Kirk had that we may see heaven crowded as he so well said he wanted to do. Thank you Jesus for rescuing us and may we live wholeheartedly for you!
There’s a fantastic ministry to equip the church to stand not for politics, but against good versus evil, light versus darkness, and biblical constructs versus anti-biblical constructs:

my heart is broken, but I don’t have to tell you why. I have the joy of the Lord, but I am grieving greatly today.
