Obama rubs designer salt in the wounds of America.
In health food stores, you can find various new and specialty salts: mineral-rich rock salt and sea salts, Himalayan pink salt, Celtic sea salt, black lava salt, red Hawaiian salt.
Then there’s Fleur de sel, which is French for “flower of salt,” Maldon salt, low-sodium salt, truffle salt, garlic and herb salts, and spicy salts.
Then there is ‘Obama salt’. More on that in a moment.
The fact is people do not buy designer salt just to be healthy. Some buy it to be trendy and sophisticated. And, Obama knows how to rub salt in wounds.
The entire event should have focused on comforting their families, and honoring the dead.
When he spoke on July 12, 2016 at the funeral of five police officers who were assassinated in Dallas TX, he couldn’t help himself. He had to inject race as a factor in the deaths of those police officers.
He said, “And so when African Americans from all walks of life, from different communities across the country, voice a growing despair over what they perceive to be unequal treatment; when study after study shows that whites and people of color experience the criminal justice system differently, so that if you’re black you’re more likely to be pulled over or searched or arrested, more likely to get longer sentences, more likely to get the death penalty.”
The thing is, this was not the time or place to preach about racism or how unfair the justice system is or place blame or speculate as to why these police officers were murdered. The entire event should have focused on comforting their families, and honoring the dead.
This reminds me of an offensive punchline from a Chris Rock ‘comedy’ monologue about O.J. Simpson. He described Nicole Brown Simpson’s infidelity and extravagant alimony and finished by saying, “I’m not saying he should’ve killed her, but I understand.”

When Obama said that Charlie Kirk’s ideas were wrong, he did not present a single example of why they were wrong. Instead he counted on the swooning crowd not to care about details like logic or honesty.

Brother Murillo for this blog and sharing all this with me this morning, I needed to be encouraged about my own walk with God, I realize I’m in this body and I’m not perfect but don’t want to be left behind, I gave my heart & life to Jesus 49 years ago & I find myself today crying God I need your help Please don’t leave me behind. I’ve grown hard not to care that I’m not loved as long as I had Jesus in my heart, broken relationship that never worked for me I broke soul ties so I could live for God with him in my heart! But here I have two grown children’s in their 50’s and my daughter is on dialysis stage 5 & my son won’t even talk to me to keep peace between he & his wife that is treating him like a acquaintance I’ve taught my children about God, about the infilling & they are not abiding. I don’t go to church building because I take care of my elderly mother. I’m leaning towards placing her in a home but I’m feeling guilty & feeling selfish because I rent and we pay 1/2 & half on our total bills. I want to pull out and work out my salvation w/fear & trembling. I feel like I hear God saying to me that I’m not going to make it into heaven!
