Chip and Joanna Gaines have a new show that features a gay couple with children. That couple said their mission on this new show is to “normalize” gay marriages with children.
There is no way to deny it—this is a direct assault on Christian values. This is the next level of the LGBTQ agenda to infiltrate and remove Bible-based faith in America.
Here’s the shocker: Chip and Joanna would seem to be the last people you would think would have any part of this. Chip and Joanna are good people – kind, moral, and aligned with American values.
But as I will show you, at this point they are calling love hate and hate love.
Now Satan is using their fame as a Trojan horse.
In other words, this is a masterstroke by Satan. Chip and Joanna became famous because of their show Fixer Upper. They grew an audience based on faith and family values.
Now Satan is using their fame as a Trojan horse. Trojan Horse refers to a deceptive strategy or trick designed to undermine or destroy an enemy or opponent from within by appearing harmless or benign on the surface.
As one person responded to them “Sorry, @chipgaines and @joannagaines. You can’t wrap sin in shiplap and call it wholesome.” The disaster is that many believers can wrap sin in shiplap and call it wholesome. (Shiplap is a type of wooden siding or interior paneling characterized by overlapping horizontal boards.)
Their mission is to “normalize same-sex families” through the series.
In a podcast interview by Queerty, the gay couple featured in the show didn’t hesitate to say that their mission was to “normalize same-sex families” through the series.
However, Christianity uncoupled from the Bible is a disaster. And it is alarming how far this mutation has spread.
Modern preaching created these mutants. Believers who do not know what the Bible says. Here are the two most important Bible truths we need in the Chip and Joanna affair:
- What does the Bible say about homosexuality?
- What did Jesus mean by Matthew 7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged.”
Here is what the Bible says about homosexuality:
Romans 1:26-27, “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.” The Bible’s opinion is very clear.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Finally we come to the verse that is used against us when we call out sin: Matthew 7:1, “Judge not that you be not judged.”
The simple meaning of this verse is that you are not to impersonate an officer of the court.
Bottom line: The Greek text for Matthew 7:1-2 uses a verb form of ‘krino’ (to judge) and a noun form of ‘krino’ (condemnation) to express a harsh way of passing final judgment on people.
But Matthew 7:1-2 is not a prohibition against using discernment or your intelligence to tell people or events by their fruit.
When Jesus condemned judging, he wasn’t at all implying we should never make judgments about anyone. After all, a few verses later, Jesus himself calls certain people “pigs” and “dogs” (Matt 7:6) and “wolves in sheep’s clothing” (7:15). … What Jesus condemns is a critical and judgmental spirit, an unholy sense of superiority.
Those that tell you ‘not to judge’, and quote Matthew 7:1, grossly out of context, are often some of the most mean-spirited, judgmental souls you could ever meet.
Jesus commanded us to examine ourselves first for the problems we so easily see in others. Only then can we help remove the speck in another’s eye – which, incidentally, assumes that a problem exists and must be confronted.
Those that tell you ‘not to judge’, and quote Matthew 7:1, grossly out of context, are often some of the most mean-spirited, judgmental souls you could ever meet.
It’s not, of course, that they don’t want anyone to judge anything, because they want very much to judge and condemn your commitment to lovingly speak and practice your Christian worldview.
You see how these tolerance rules work? We must tolerate them, but they don’t have to tolerate us. Their logic is consistent, anyway.
And finally, Chip put out this horrible, misguided statement on X:
“Talk, ask qustns, listen.. maybe even learn. Too much to ask of modern American Christian culture. Judge 1st, understand later/never. It’s a sad Sunday when ‘non believers’ have never been confronted with hate or vitriol until they are introduced to a modern American Christian.”
See what he is doing? We are guilty of vitriol and hate. But in his mind he is not judging.
The Bible, Chip, says in Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
It is not love, it is hate, to condone something that God hates. And it is not hate to speak the truth in love.
Mario Murillo is right because his source is scripture from the Bible, which is never wrong.

All SEEMED normal until I caught wind of a ‘controversy’ and the exposure of who the families on the new show are. THEN I SAW CHIP GAINE’S RESPONSE TO THE OUTCRY. I praise the Lord that he took me out of Sodom. They bother my liver. I have been off the drugs for almost 2 years and my doctor is amazed. Jesus is healing me. I will have a total healing for science. I have a granddaughter who has a little 7 yr old who has married another woman bearing her last name and my heart grieves for them because I know where this life will take them! I have been attacked as being homophobia only because not judging but reminding my granddaughter that this is not right and deep down she knows this! I am praying for her and her female mate and especially my little grandson! I so want to communicate the Truth with a boldness and yet speak the Truth in love! Sometimes as a parent of 6 children I have had to act upon tough love to help bring GODLY Truth to plain sight and this can be very brutal in keeping families together! l was saddened to hear about Chip and Joanna. They have a massive following with people hanging on their every word and deed. Love. as expressed by Jesus, is longing for the truth to be revealed to and within an individual and/or people. I have had gay acquaintances over the years but never condoned their behavior or lifestyle. Loved them as He loves us but never condoned or promoted their sin. Sadly, it’s quite possible to “love” someone right into hell. This entire issue can be a difficult one to maneuver. My brother was gay (he passed away several years ago). I never wanted to, or felt that I needed to shun him and his friends, but I made it clear that my love for them was NOT acceptance of their lifestyle. It’s hard to keep boundaries under those circumstances. But keeping my door open made it possible to speak truth to him….what he did with it was his choice. Our relationship was not as close as one would choose to have with a sibling but we knew one another’s heart toward the other.
One morning very early my phone rang. It was my brother telling me he was in a hospital waiting to be taken at any moment to surgery to remove a brain tumor. He was in another city and there was no way to reach him in person before the surgery. I suddenly heard myself saying, “Don’t you dare to go into that surgery without calling upon Jesus and telling Him you are sorry for all your sins and asking Him to be your Savior!” I rattled on about his NEED for Jesus for what seemed like a long time. I don’t remember precisely what I said to him in that conversation. It was if Holy Spirit was pouring out the words. And then, my brother was taken to surgery, which he survived.
Sometime after that, when he was in my home, he said, “I want you to know that I did it. I asked Jesus to forgive me that morning when they were taking me to surgery…” Those words were wonderful to hear. I simply hope all that had the positive effect we pray for, but my brother returned to his friends in the gay community. It’s all he knew and they were his only friends. Who can know what is really in someone’s heart other than Jesus? I think we do the best we can to bring someone to the point of salvation…but it’s Holy Spirit Who seals the deal.
I’ve heard of cases where these homosexual couples adopt children in order to sexually abuse them. May God help the children.
Their success will be halted if they continue down this crooked mislead path. Praying that Chip and JoAnn will repent and understand their platform and how the enemy is using them to conform to the world. As Christians we follow Christ. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.” Those that believe that homosexuality and the things that go with it have one judge and it is the word of the living God. Romans chapter 1: 22-32. Our prayer is that those who are deceived will come to the truth and turn from this evil and receive the truth. Jesus is Lord.

Loving him is standing for truth because he is miserable, has isolated himself from the people who truly care for him & is depressed & fearful. The acceptance & promotion of this lie that LGBTQ+ is “normal” is a catalyst for causing people to suffer in this sin that causes destruction & death. Mario, this ‘Christian’ acceptance of a lifestyle that Jesus clearly hates is mainstream and not love at all. Whatever reason a person uses to justify sin is an affront to God Himself. Yes, God loves us even when we were in our sin, but He emphatically hates the sin that controls us! He separates the sinner from the sin….something they who are calling those who engage in deviant lifestyles are not doing. That may be because of poor teaching from the pulpits.

Thank you, Mario, for another inciteful and articulate blog about Chip and Joanna and the truth of their misguided decision to go ahead with their new show. I pray the deep deception that has come on them will be revealed, they will repent and cancel this show. Thank you for sharing God’s Word which is the truth about this situation. I especially thank you for revealing the Greek meanings of judge. I encourage everyone who is not a part of the Firepower Army to watch your show with Todd Coconato as you share things I don’t hear any one else speaking about. It’s refreshing to hear news with Scriptures to always point us to the Lord. I pray for the Lord to continually protect you, your family and the Ministry you lead and pour out His wisdom on you as you prepare for your next Living Proof Tent crusade in Michigan. Amen! I do pray for them. I hear so often to “love” them, but it is not just love, it is “truth in love.” There are so many great comments. I do not want to love them right into hell. I take grief for my belief against the LGBQ….and often say, I am not tell God he made a mistake because He didn’t!

Oh my, I am extremely disappointed at Chip and Joanna. They are certainly lost, they have lost their way. I hope and pray that this show will flop for the evil it promotes as normal.

Thank you Mario for calling things out and speaking truth. We are either all for God and His word or we are for satan and his lies. I choose God, no exceptions. Keep bringing forth the truth and let those who have ears to hear the truth step up and stand firmly for God, because the day is coming when we will stand before Him and that day is coming sooner than we think.

Brother Mario, if Im understanding correctly, if my son who is living with a woman and not married, they are both saved , if Jesus comes back before they repent and get married they will not inherit the kingdom of God ????
I cannot say definitively they are lost but it is a scary thing that they are doing. They should prayerfully read those verses.
Mario, I wholly agree, but in theinterest of accuracy, I never found a quote by Chip saying they were trying to normalize homosexual marriage with children. (They did say the other quotes you mentioned.) The person who said that was one of the gay guys. Here is the quote from the LA Times: “When our boys were born — our twin boys were born via surrogacy in 2014 — we faced some legal challenges, and so we’ve always felt it it to be important that we try to be an example for same-sex couples,” Hanna told Queerty in a story published last week. “And so we’re super honored that, when they were choosing three modern day families, they did choose the same[-sex] couple as a modern-day family — because we are; we’re your neighbors, and your coworkers. And so it was this amazing opportunity to [continue to] normalize same-sex couples and same-sex families.”
In essence, Chip and Joanna are normalizing this, whether they said so or not. It doesn’t change anything, but you have to be accurate and Chip nor Joanna as far Is I can find, ever said those words.
Tom, you are correct. I never said that Chip or Joanna said that I said that the gay couple said it. The quote is attributed to tem in the blog.
Jesus met with, ate with tax collectors, prostitutes, thieves etc. He loved them, but didn’t normalize their behavior-he delivered them.

Thank you Mario, for teaching and calling out this false doctrine. Jesus clearly taught against the doctrine for compromise in His message to 7 churches in Revelaton. Praying for all to realize this deception of lies.
Gods Word is Truth, what He says is True. We cannot simply discard it because we disagree with it. If we do, we are, in effect calling God a liar. Let God be true, and every human being a liar. Heaven and Earth will pass away, but My Words Will Not pass away.
Judging & Reproof
2 Timothy 4:2-4 – Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. John 7:24 – Judge not according to the appearance but judge righteous judgment.
Colossians 4:5-6 – Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Ezekiel 33:9 – Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked to turn from his way: if he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life.
We need more pastors willing to address cultural issues from the pulpit and what the Word of God says about them. We desperately need outreach to the younger generations that are being brainwashed by education, tv, media, etc. Plus, Mario is right on about the different Protestant camps: Prophecy, prosperity, mega church, worship (entertainment, techno concert, etc.) and heresy hunter camp. I believe the worst of these is the heresy hunter camp. We have pastors, denominations that spend their lives mocking other protestant groups that don’t quite share the beliefs on issues such as gifts of the Spirit, rapture, etc. They are dividers that stop the flow of the gospel to the lost. More prayer needed. The enemy is not the flesh but the demonic spirit controlling them. Mario, keep up the good work!!

Ohh, the agony of the commenters is so palpable. Their hurt is for their lost and confused family/friends who have chosen to go the way of homosexuality.
Totally understanding the dilemma, we cannot engage in tolerance. Would you grant the unrepentant thief mercy as they continue in their wrong path? The unrepentant liar? The unrepentant rapist? The unrepentant murderer? The unrepentant aborter?
The key word here is “unrepentant.” All of the above mentioned persons (that Mario referred to) DO know the Truth.
Hence, their refusal to accept Truth, loving the darkness more than the Light, they seek to gather more unrepentants to flaunt their influence. They seek to qualify their behavior as acceptable due to their numbers.
Nothing outside of intercession will help these. ONLY intercession for them will help. I ask our LORD JESUS to comfort you intercessors! I ask, since Father has poured out of His Holy Spirit on ALL flesh, that therefore, I can speak THE Name of Jesus Christ to EVERY soul, that therefore I can call out “the Light has come, the darkness FLED!”
IN Jesus’ mighty name, and now, the holy angels can enforce Father’s Will and His Kingdom in earth, AS IN HEAVEN!

I think that Peter is on to something. Globalism has infested our world like the cancer it is, and fame and fortune are parceled out to those who are willing to sell their souls. Does anyone really think that Hollywood actors, pop musicians or media flacks, most of whom are narcissists, care anything about the social or political issues about which they pontificate to everyone else? Of course not. They get sucked in to the world system with its temporal rewards and readily sell out in order to continue to reap the world’s favor. . Jesus asked rhetorically what a man would exchange for his soul. The answer is that many people sell God’s grace pretty cheap. It will be a regret they carry into a very dark eternity.

Could that be partly because the church has had to endure 4 years of Biden perversity, trying to call evil good and forcing it on the people. But God answers the prayers of His people. The issue of perversion is one where God and the general consensus of the American people are walking side by side. Despite the outcry against evil there is so much work yet to be done. Prayers are needed for humility and repentance of Chip and Joanna. What about their family members, church family and also employees? Consider how all those people are suddenly thrown in the midst of controversy. And yet the devil is in the corner laughing at all the strife and confusion he was able to cause. Instead of Christians being self-righteous on this issue we should be on our knees for the victims of Satan’s charade. May God rescue his people once again 🙏 ❤️
The terms “hate”
and “ vitriol” as being traits of the “American” church, whatever that is, betrays these wolves real agenda. Paul and Jesus must then both be “haters” and members of the “American” church. The truth is, however. That God created a universe of physical and moral order. Men and women were created in order to multiply the human race and that is reflected in physically different characteristics. It reflects God’s sense of order, and to violate that intent of the Creator is to violate His physical and moral order. It is man’s predisposition to violate that order, and thus to oppose God that leads to such things as hatred, theft, murder and perversion. The issue is always man’s sin nature, not the individual expression of it. These actions, however, reflect man’s innate rebellion against God and Paul
explicitly states in Romans that perversion is the end result of man’s hatred for God. Of course we all, including believers, struggle against sin…the mind, as Paul says, needs to renewed daily. However, to encourage people in any form of sin is to oppose God consciously and if done under cover if being a Christian us the mark of a vicious wolf.
