Collapsing under the weight of Woke, Seattle riots against Christians.
America is dumping wokeness like nuclear waste. DEI is DOA. Pride month will look like an abandoned sideshow. Then there is San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.
Here we have three cities that will not face reality. Instead of learning from their disastrous social experiment—they have doubled down.
As a result, violence, homelessness, addiction and mental illness will continue their reign in these dystopian communities, only now it will have a new twist.
And make no mistake—that new twist is to attack Christians, and even children. And it was on full display in Seattle this last Saturday.
The Christian Post said this:
“The May 24 rally at Cal Anderson Park, organized by pro-life group Mayday USA for its “DontMessWithOurKids” national tour, drew hundreds of supporters holding signs supporting the sanctity of life, biological gender, the nuclear family and religious freedom.
A short time later, pro-LGBT counter-protesters confronted the group. Waving transgender flags, they reportedly clashed with police in riot gear and threw water bottles and other objects.”
Only it was much worse than that. They pulled a knife on Christians who were giving away clothes, haircuts and other gifts to the poor. Or just worshipping.
What Jenny Donnoly, who leads the Don’t Mess With Our Kids movement, and was the force behind this rally is doing, is clearly the work of God. This is what they are attacking!
We know what happened because we talked with Ross Johnston who also led the outreach in Cal Anderson Park. He was our special guest on Firepower. (See below for a direct link to the show.}
Woke is done and they are raging against the inevitable.
Not only that—members of the “queer community” as they like to call themselves—started performing sex acts in front of children.
Why did they take such total leave of their senses? Desperation? Mental illness? Demonic hatred?
The answer is: all of the above. Woke is done and they are raging against the inevitable.
As a result, they have created a massive backlash. Even atheists and the gay community are coming to the defense of ‘Mayday USA’.
But the real lesson here is that Christians can and should go into these areas because they are going to win in court. And because it is our calling!
Equally important is the fact that the horror of Wokeness was once again on full display. There is nothing noble, decent, or redeemable about it. Maybe we needed to see that one more time.

But first, we need to look at the insidious words of the mayor of Seattle:
“Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice,” the statement read. “Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.”
- He said welcoming and inclusive, but only to some but not to others. That is discrimination based on religion.
- He said that the rally subjected the trans neighbors to “bigotry and injustice.” The bigotry and injustice was on the other side when the protestors, and Antifa threatened and attacked a Christian group that had a permit to rally. Leftists always accuse others of what they themselves are doing.
- He also lied when he accused the Christians of intentionally trying to provoke violence. What? By providing haircuts, food, clothing and by singing worship songs?
- He declared that Seattle is an anti-Christian city. He is saying, Bible beliefs are “inherently opposed to our city’s values.”
I have several final reactions:
-The first is that the Constitution of the United States does not permit Seattle to enforce values that ban Christianity.
-The next reaction is to take a look at what Seattle values have done to Seattle. It has turned entire neighborhoods into ash heaps of despair and addiction.
-A public park cannot ban a peaceful rally. It is against freedom of speech and freedom of religion and the right to assemble.
-A Seattle newsman covering the story said that ‘two genders is an ideology.’ ‘Male and female’ are not an ideology. ‘Male and female’ is just simple biology. That the “trans- community” disagrees does not allow them to negate established science or any opposing view.
-It is hypocritical to say we are invading their territory. ‘Drag queen reading hours’ consistently tried to get into conservative neighborhoods.
If any believer thinks it is wrong to go to these cities they may need to apologize to Philip.
Acts chapter 8:9-12, “But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time. But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.”
A city soaked in sorcery turned to Jesus! Let us pray that the sorcery in Seattle will be overcome by the power of God. As Romans 5:20 says, “…where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” Selah.

God help us. We are seeing scripture unfold in these last days. Lord help us be the light, the salt, your peace and love in the midst of the hatred. May we face it with Your truth knowing You love every person and desire their soul to be saved.
We prayed against this very thing last night in our Monday MMM prayer group and will continue to do so each week. When I read about what this Mayor said and saw the videos of what happened there it sickened me. We will definitely up the ante and start praying for these lost souls on the left coast.

I’ve lived in Washington State for over 60 years. I pray for Seattle but don’t care if I ever go there again in this lifetime!
I’m amazed these people think there’s never going to be consequences for their
actions. Their only hope is tuning to the God they hate.
I pray and ask Father God to give the unbelievers a longing for Jesus that they have never felt before, and everywhere they go they see and hear Jesus! I lived in Washington across from Portland for 30 years. I am saddened by what is happening there. I am praying for the whole West Coast for a tuning to God and repudiating this evil!

Tuesday evening, Russell Johnson led most of the gathering. I was impressed with the masculine strength shown there. The May Days were well done with women and children ministering. That was in New York City, Miami, and Houston with Jenny Donnelly in leadership. The Rattle in Seattle group was very much a variety of people. They were packed together in the venue. Obviously they were there to stand up for what they believed were the true values of the city. I watched all on Jenny’s YouTube. She had a lot to say on her Wednesday talk also. Ross spoke, but he was not the leader.

Oh my Mario, how a city or the mayor of that city could say such a thing is mind boggling. Most places maybe don’t like the thought of Christianity but just put up with it. But this man totally denied the need for help for his citizens and then blamed the peacekeepers for the riots.

I live in Washington State just about an hour north of Seattle. I used to visit the city regularly, but no more. It is dirty, unsafe and yes, as far woke as you can imagine.
These ultra-liberal values are spreading into the suburbs as well because people are flocking away from Seattle and taking their Antichrist values into more rural areas.
We have considered moving from here into more conservative places but our family is here and this is where God has planted us. The gospel needs to be spread here too!

It sounds good because we have all been created in the image of God…
What WOKE additionally means: it is an ideology against God, free speech religion & individual thought or opinion. It leaves no room for discussion or debate. It follows the ways of the world. If it feels good it is good. It decides what is right & wrong. It uses the world’s view, “your truth or my truth”. It’s fluid. Truth is whatever you want it to be. It’s standards of values & morals, if there are any, are dictated by the world’s view of the purpose of life, not God’s, not God’s Word. We know Jesus said, “I AM the Way, the Truth & the Life. No one goes to the Father but through Him.”
We are to love God & love our neighbors as ourselves. God’s way is the only way to live life to the fullest through Jesus Christ.

I grew up in Seattle in the 50’s it is sad to see what has happened there. But God is on the throne still and we can seek Him and pray earnestly for this situation there. So thankful for people who went there to help and be kind and help and show their love for the Lord to the people there. We all need to do this to show the world Jesus is alive and can change you from the inside out. Praise our awesome God!
The enemy overplayed his hand on Saturday. This event has gotten national attention and made the mayor look like a fool in the eyes of most. I live 2 hrs south of Seattle, I am so tired of being in this crazy area, I am definitely tired of fighting against the demonic program here. I think about the Sodom story, God did not redeem that area, He knew it wasn’t going to happen, He incinerated it instead as a message. His plan is for the end game, some will win and some will lose, salvation, or reject Him. The Gospel has been preached here, but enclaves of rejecting His message will exist till Jesus comes back. This states government is totally against Godly principles, sometimes leaving. Is sanctioned by God. If you guys have so much extra energy to fight and God calls you to it, move here and raise up a movement, I am over that idea however.
