What a night! 

Last night was clearly a prelude to what God plans to do this week here in Tyler. The temperature was cooler tonight, but the fire of God was even hotter.

Catherine and her team kicked off the night again with an amazing time of worship. They are truly anointed by God and are a blessing to the body of Christ and to us.

I really love watching how the young people flood the front and engage with Catherine. There is no better way to learn how to worship God then to be led into His presence.

Mario began the night by having the people lift their hands and pray aloud in tongues. You could feel the presence of God swell in the Tent as the people were obedient and lifted their voice.

He shared how last night was one of the most intense outpourings of the healing power of the Spirit his team has experienced under the Tent. He called for those who had been healed last night were back tonight to give a shout and a large shout of celebration and gratitude went out from the people.

“I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one” (John 17:15 NKJV).

Mario said that it is absolutely true: Christianity is the one faith in the whole world that is safe from the Devil. He told the people when he calls them forward it will be to get Jesus in their life and the devil of their back. And then they will be free as they can be from any threat of Satan.

He said a modern mind cannot imagine hell. And they will say, “A God of love would never create a hell.” But that statement is a violation of one of the ten commandments. Saying such a thing is making God in your image, crafting a graven image. And because you can’t imagine hell, you think that God can’t imagine hell.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8, 9 NKJV).

He asked, “How do we know there is such a place as hell? Because Jesus talked about it. We know it’s real because Jesus speaks about it. He said the scripture that is the most terrifying proof of hell is John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).

Mario asked, “How does this verse prove the existence of hell? The proof of how impossibly horrible a thing may be is not by knowing what it is. Rather it is by seeing what someone will do to rescue them from going there.

“God gave His Son, because hell is horrible. God bankrupted heaven, because it is inexplicably and impossibly horrible. And we are living on thin ice if we decide there is no hell.

“You are willing to buy car insurance in the event of a wreck. You are willing to buy medical insurance in the event of an illness. You don’t anticipate a wreck or sickness, yet you purchase these on a possibility, but you won’t get insurance in case of an absolute reality.”

Mario then said, “Hell is not the only problem. The Devil is the other one. Because he has a right to attack anyone not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.”

He told them, the question is not, “Are you in a good mood?” or “What is the amount in your bank account? Or do you have regular blood pressure? Or is your marriage intact? These are all secondary realities. The true reality is there is an invisible enemy, and he has permission to attack unless you are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

He then had the people close their eyes and asked them, on what basis do you believe you are not going to hell and that Satan does not have permission to attack? He told them they need to look at the symptoms in their soul. That they are under attack because they are unprotected.

He then called for them to raise their hand in response if they want the protection of Jesus Christ. Then they need to stand up, and finally to come forward, to know Jesus in power and in truth. Free from the Devil.

It was another incredible response. Many came forward and they did not hesitate at all. The front of the Tent was full of people who responded to the call.
Mario prayed over them and then dismissed them out to be ministered to by our amazing volunteer army. The line of volunteers stretched the length of the Tent and doubled back on itself at each end. It was so wonderful!

As is our custom, while they were being ministered to, Catherine and her team returned to the stage and led us some great songs of celebration.

After this Mario shared his message titled, “Tearing the Roof Off of Your Sickness.”  

He said that the difference between a good friend and a best friend is that a good friend will bail you out of jail at three in the morning. But a best friend will be sitting beside you in the cell saying, “Wasn’t that fun?”

He then told about a paralyzed man from scripture that had four friends. These friends heard Jesus was in a nearby house. Their best friend was paralyzed, so they carried him to the house where Jesus was. And they tore open the roof to lower their friend down to where Jesus was.

Those are best friends. They didn’t care about the repair bill, they only cared about their friend.

“Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying” (Mark 2:3-4 NKJV).

Mario then shared the scripture where Jesus and the disciples went to the mount of transfiguration. When they came down, there was a father seeking help for his demon possessed child.

“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!'” (Mark 9:23-24 NKJV).

He shared how after this encounter the disciples come to Jesus and ask why they were unable to cast the devil out. And Mario encouraged the people, by saying it was not that the disciples were feeling lesser or weak, but rather they were saying to Jesus, “What do we do to have the power to never again face a demon we cannot defeat. And encouraged the people to have the same kind of faith, to face devils and win, and to lower friends through a roof to the feet of Jesus, to see victory!

Mario said, “A good general finds out why his weapon didn’t work. We have to have effectual weapons that work. If it’s fasting and prayer, do it. If it’s getting rid of unbelief, do it. If it’s forgiving someone, do it. But don’t be passive.

“It’s not the will of God for you to be sick. Mario shared about an encounter with a cessationist who told him he believed it was God’s will that he was sick. Then Mario asked him why he was going to the doctor and taking medicine – “Aren’t you afraid that you might get well and be out of the will of God?”

On the contrary, everything in the human body fights to get well. It tries to break a fever and when it’s tired, it tries to sleep. Every cell in the body does everything it can to get well. So if your body wants to get well, you had better fight in your spirit to get well.

Mario was sharing a story about a woman in a wheelchair who had been healed and her family tried to get her to sit back down. They couldn’t accept the truth of the power of Jesus to heal her.

While speaking Mario turned and called out a man mid-way back in the Tent. He had him walk toward the back section of the Tent to a couple. He had them both stand. The man was healed in his heart, his feet, his spine, his lungs, and something that had been growing inside him. The woman who was with him was then healed of pain in her joints.

Next he pointed to the opposite side of the Tent and said there was someone with cancer. When he asked for them to stand, two women stood up.

The first woman, it was revealed, had been dealing with cancer for a long time. It would go away and then return. But now God was healing her, and the Lord assured her it would never return.

Next there was a man in the middle section. He was being healed in seven places. Mario had the woman next to him stand also and said she was also being healed. The man was healed in his heart, his spine, his legs, his eyes and ears. God said the years of his life were being restored. Then the woman was healed in her back and in her stomach.

Next Mario began to speak in Spanish, calling out people with diabetes. There were five of them and they eventually all stood. Then one of them was highlighted and she was also healed in her eyes and her heart.

Then Mario told a man in the middle section that he’d been healed in his hip, lower back and legs. And now he was able to walk. The man came out into the aisle and walked around the Tent, healed!

Mario had everyone stand, raise their hands, and pray in tongues. He then bound sickness and disease in the room as the people cried out to God.

A woman to one side of the Tent, was healed of arthritis, blood disease, diabetes, heart disease, and pain in the feet. She also stepped out, swinging her arms and legs, and then began to walk without pain.

Then there began to be many healings throughout the room. Migraines and even leukemia.

It was an incredible night of the power of the Holy Spirit. God touched so many lives, healing bodies and rescuing souls. If you were not here you missed out.
