What an opening night here in Tyler, TX! We kicked off the year with an excellent week in North Carolina and this is already shaping up to be as great, if not greater. God is doing something in Tyler, TX.
It was a hot and humid Texas night, but it did not stop the people from showing up to the Tent, and it did not stop the Holy Spirit from showing up.
We were so excited to have Catherine Mullins back, along with her band. Her newborn baby is amazing, and we are grateful she had time to spend with him, but we’re so glad she’s back. Catherine and her team do an incredible job of not performing for us, but leading us into worship with our God. It was powerful as always.
Mario took the stage and told the people we are here to do two things. First, to exalt Jesus Christ. And, the second, is to take back things from the Devil that he never thought he would lose.
He said every square foot of the Tent is anointed and there is a presence of healing power. And because of that we would see signs, wonders, and miracles done in the name of Jesus.
Mario shared the night’s message which was titled, “The Greatest Deception in History.” Then he prayed over the people as they returned to their seats from the time of worship.
Mario began his message by saying we are living in a time where it isn’t just bodies that are sick. In fact the greatest epidemic in America isn’t physical, but mental illness. Mario quoted David Ramsey who said that 2% of all Americans should be institutionalized – that’s 6.8 million Americans. And that then we wonder where all the violence and perverseness is coming from.
Mario then said that the Bible tells us what’s happening, and that any religion can tell you how to feel better about yourself, but can’t stop you from being crazy.
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12 NKJV).
Mario said this means natural feelings, care, human kindness, will all start to dissipate. The food and water has been poisoned, but also the cultural spirit has been poisoned by lawlessness, and it produced people emotionally out of control.
He said it used to be that you could recuperate from depression. You could play a song, or have a relationship, and it would go away. But the wave of depression hitting America now doesn’t go away, and our old remedies no longer work.
He said Islam and Buddhism cannot get you over depression. They can give you a religious sense of false security, but it is Jesus Christ who heals the inner spirit.
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good” (2 Timothy 3:1-3 NKJV).
Mario highlighted the part of the verse that describes what has happened: “unthankful, unholy, unlovely, and unforgiving.” He said these don’t say that people simply aren’t grateful, or moral, or forgiving, but that they have lost the power to do those things.
He described ‘unforgiving’ by talking about a wound in your spirit and gave an example of a man who had been divorced for thirty years but it still feels like it happened yesterday. Much like a person with diabetes develops the condition where wounds do not heal properly. The nations of the worlds are rising in war because people have lost the power to let things go and forgive.
He describes ‘ungrateful’ as being like a mother unmoved by the cry of a baby, or how the beauty of a sunset no longer moves the heart. People are no longer capable of getting excited or moved by anything.
He said the reason we see rudeness, indifference and complacency is that something is irreparably broken.
The Bible tells us lawlessness is the reason for the mental illness, the second reason is that it’s the last days – but that it is the last days is the most compelling – and that Satan knows his time is short.
“Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the Devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time” (Revelation 12:12).
Mario said Satan has been practicing lying for eons and his deception skills are the best they’ve ever been. And that he has saved the worst for last. We will never see more demonic power, more Devilish activity, than we are seeing right now.
“But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more” (Romans 5:20b NKJV).
Mario then said the greatest deception in history is described in this verse:
“…having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5 NKJV).
He asked, “What is the ultimate deception? It is to believe you are going to heaven and waking up in hell. No deception is worse than that, to leave this life and hear Jesus say, “Depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.”
It’s not enough to be a member of a church, or to attend every week, if you can’t get off drugs, can’t stop cheating on your spouse, are angry enough to commit murder, incapable of stopping a lustful, broken, depressed, and lonely existence.
“Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?” (2 Corinthians 13:5 (AMPC).
Mario said, “The news has gotten out, it has been confirmed. Nothing removes depression like Jesus. Nothing removes loneliness like Jesus. Nothing removes fear or addiction like Jesus. The word is out!”
He said that the greatest lie the Devil ever told, his greatest deception, was that in the last days Satan thought to make someone believe they are going to heaven, when they are actually going to hell.
Mario then made an appeal to those who wanted to make sure they break this deception. To make sure they are truly going to Heaven, and that they can receive victory over their depression and addiction and fear. He asked the people to raise their hands, then stand, and come to the front. It was a powerful response, and so many came and filled the front of the altar. It seemed like half of the people in the Tent came forward and they were stretched all the way across the front of it. It was beautiful.
After he prayed over them he then had them go outside the Tent to be ministered to briefly. When I walked out I was blown away to see we had so many volunteers that they had to make two rows of people stretched across the entire width of the Tent. We have been praying for enough volunteers to meet the needs of the people who would be coming. And this was a mighty response, the start of the Living Proof Volunteer Army.
Of course while they were being ministered to, the worship team came back up and led the people in amazing camp meeting songs. The atmosphere in the Tent was electric as we praised and celebrated what God had just done for the souls He had just rescued.
After the people returned to the Tent and their seats, the atmosphere shifted quickly and the Lord Jesus began to touch the physical needs of those in the audience.
The first person the Holy Spirit called out was Pastor Jerry Phelps who made the initial contact to get the Tent brought to Tyler, TX. God blessed him by touching his spine, his legs, and his arms. He began moving freely and with no pain.
Mario then called out a lady in the front and had her go to a woman behind her with diabetes. God spoke of the pain in her joints, problems breathing, and heart problems, all of which were being healed.
It was revealed that she sometimes needed help walking, but would no longer need it. God said the proof would be the pain leaving her shoulders. Immediately she raised her arms even higher in the air with no pain. Then she came down to the front of the Tent and Mario had her begin moving her legs and suddenly she took off running. And not a casual jog but sprinted one way and then back again! Then hopped and danced in place at the front of the Tent. It was truly incredible.
Next for a woman midway back, Mario had the young man next to her lay hands on her back because he needed to know that the power of God was real. He laid his hand on her back, and she was touched by the Lord, and her back was healed.
Then another woman on the other side was healed along with someone in her family that she has been praying for. She was healed of fourteen conditions, her teeth, her neck, pancreas, lungs, heart, eyes, hands, back, hip, knees, feet, and stomach.
He said so many in the Tent were being healed in their joints it would be impossible to call them all out.
In the middle section of the Tent, a man was healed in his chest, and his heart, back, knees and feet were all being touched as well.
Then a woman a few rows back who had a series of symptoms that began ten years prior. They would sometimes subside, but soon return with a vengeance, and at times money was not available and she had to forego treatment. God told her that He was restoring her finances as well as healing her blood, feet, back, lungs, diabetes, and heart disease.
Next a woman with pain in her head and stomach was healed of both. Then to one side there were several people all being healed of various forms of cancer.
Finally, and this is my favorite part, Mario instructed the people to pray for one another. It is important for us to remember that being called out in a service is nothing special, nor does it require a special person for healing to occur.
All that is needed is for God’s people to come together and join their faith, praying for one another and God will move and answer their prayer.
Mario asked everyone who needed healing to raise their hand. Then for those around them to lay hands on them and begin praying for them.
After a time, Mario asked for everyone who had been healed by God in the service to stand. It looked like more than 50% of the people stood to their feet.
What an amazing night! I never tire of seeing God move, seeing Him save souls, and seeing Him heal their bodies. It is incredible and I can’t wait to see what He does the next three nights!

Two things jumped out at me…

When you have a Christian Concert or a performance, people are deceived into thinking the overflow blessing and emotions means they are OK when there is no commitment and no change and they are only doing what all humans were created to do, lift up Jesus.

I have posted often about the believers authority being delegated, I have no doubt that had Mario not called this lady out and “delegated” her to pray that she would have held back.
And, I am sure Mario wouldn’t have delegated her unless he had his Sovereigns ‘leave’ to do so.
Too many pastors try to do every spiritual thing themselves (as well as being CEO of the ministry) When every believe is a potential conduit for God’s Power
IMHO Pastors should enable, empower and delegate their people instead of allowing them to be pew warmers. They will *not* see the power of Jesus unless they are out of their comfort zone.
How we need this move òf GOD in WI. When are you coming again

I need to know when Mario will be back in North Carolina or anywhere close to Virginia again. I’m so sorry I missed him. He prayed over my son when he was only 10 and he has been healed of major allergies and asthma…He made it through the army and is now 45 years old and is going strong. I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and am trying hard to make life changes to eliminate it but would love prayer for it.
I wanted to be able to be a volunteer for Mario. Anything to show how grateful I am for his service to the Lord.
We are traveling in Tyler area and excited about coming to hear Mario Tuesday evening.
God bless the healing evangelist it is strange that in 2025 people still do not believe in healing I just burred a Catholic friend who laughed at me when I offered to lay hands on him and pray they actually still think you need the Popes permission and a signed note from Mary to be healed. God has healed me 7 times even called me into the healing Ministry but if your not “Famous or a TV” preacher they won’t come to a meeting they would rather stay sick . People it is God and Jesus who do the healing not man you want to stay sick or drive 2000 miles to someone famous have at it, I’m starting a Food Truck I’ve done my part no one showed or ever gives not $1 and it takes money to run ministry buy a tent rent land etc. I would just go to the Hospitals but the gatekeepers of sickness the Catholic run all that part and won’t let even Ministers in to pray for people it’s a shame 2025 people dying who don’t have too. A 5 year old believer can lay hands on the sick and heal according to Mark 16:17

MAID for mental illness is set to take effect in March 2027.
Hopelessness and a desire to end one’s life can be a symptom of some mental illnesses
Many Canadians struggle with their mental health. There are long waiting lists for treatment and it can be expensive.
One in 10 people will wait more than 4 months for counselling. The waiting period for MAiD is only 3 months.
We are already hearing about people asking for MAiD because they do not have the support needed to live.
Mario, would you be coming to Batavia New York in the near future?
